红岩上，红梅开，

千里冰霜脚下踩，

三九严寒何所惧，

一片丹心向阳开，向阳开。

红梅花儿开，朵朵放光彩，

昂首怒放花万朵，

香飘云天外，

唤醒百花齐开放，

高歌欢庆迎春来，迎春来！

Ode to Mume Flowers,

The red mume’s blooming on the red cray,

A boundless stretch of ice and frost ground is under foot,

Fearing not the intense cold during the frigid days.

The proud mume’s blooming in the red sun, in the red sun.

The red mume comes to bloom, shining especially bright,

With thousands upon thousands of petals,

The sweet scent floats a far. It wakens all flowers,

Now they are in full bloom,

Let’s sing loudly to hail the happy new spring, the happy new spring!
