What is "Double Seventh Night Festival"?
“七夕”是个什么节
Very ambiguous, very upset.
很暧昧、很酸楚
It used to be "Daughters' Day," Girls' Day. "
原本是“女儿节”、“少女节”
But Cowherd, Weaver is a love story.
但牛郎、织女所演绎的是一个爱情故事
It's not good to call it "Valentine's Day."
又不好叫“情人节”
Although "lovers", it's human.
尽管“情人”,人之常情
There is no exception to this in modern or ancient times , in China or elsewhere.
古今中外, 概莫能外
But Valentine's Day is something in the West.
但“情人节”是西方的东西

许多国家都在过的节日
We don't learn from the West.
我们不学西方
So someone suggested that "Double Seventh Night"
于是有人建议把“七夕”
"Valentine's Day" in China
推成中国“情人节”
The problem is that "lover" is considered a "bad thing."
问题是“情人”被认为是个“坏东西”
At least one noun that was broken by those dirty officials
起码是被那些个脏官给玩坏了的一个名词
They use power as a "aphrodisiac."
他们把权力当“春药”
Who dares to give a name to "lover"
谁敢给“情人”正名
But the fact that many of their lovers
不过他们的诸多情人的事实
It shows that there must be a lover in China.
说明中国不可能不存在“情人”
We don't want the more one tries to hide , the more is exposed.
我们不要欲盖弥彰
This is really in line with the world.
这点倒真的是和世界接轨了
They don't dare call it "Oriental Valentine's Day."
不敢叫“东方情人节”
They haven't read Plato's spiritual Love at all.
他们完全没有读过柏拉图的“精神之恋”
A mind full of things to do
满脑子都是苟且之事
Then what should it be called?
那么该叫什么
The name is not right, the word is not right
名不正,言不顺
