老年大学

University study of age has become my indispensable part of life. 

到老年大学学习已经成为我晚年生活不可或缺的组成部分。

We met at the Sunlight Town University for the aged.

我们相会在昱城老年大学。

Some state universities even offer senior citizens free education.

许多州立大学甚至于让老年人免费就读。

The Sunlight Town  Third Age University provides broad space for our study.  昱城老年大学为我们提供了广阔的学习空间。

However, the brain continues to change throughout life and is capable of learning into old age. 

然而, 大脑不断改变整个生命,并有能力学习进入老年。

Of course, the young should learn from the older people

当然青年人必须向老年人和成年人学习，

and try as far as possible to win their agreement for doing useful things.

要尽量争取在老年人和成年人同意之下去做各种有益的活动。

We need also to take care of elderly, who have contributed much to our success over the years.

另外，我们也要照顾长者，他们多年来为我们的成功作出了很大贡献。

We must ensure that the elderly are physically and mentally healthy.

我们必须确保长者身心健康。

To develop a modern distance education network

发展现代远程教育网络，

and establish a socialized life-long educational system.

构建社会化的终身教育体系。

In the internet age, one can go to college at home.

网络时代，一个人在家也可以“上大学”。

My slogan is "learn at home and study to be scholar".

我的口号是“在家学，学到家”。

There is an old lady abroad named Rose, who likes studying very much.

国外有一位老太太叫罗斯，很喜欢学习，

Finally, at the age of 87, she got her college acceptance notice.

终于她在八十七岁那年如愿以尝获得大学录取通知书。

A word from her awakened the world:

她的一句话点醒世人：

“We don't stop learning because we're old.

我们不是因为年老而停止学习，

We grow old because we stop learning.”

我们是因为停止学习才会变老。”

The British philosopher Russell once said,

英国哲学家罗素曾说过：

"A strong hobby keeps me from aging."

“强烈的爱好使我免于衰老”。
