一个星期天

There are still people training on the playground.

操场上还有人在训练

The body is the capital of the revolution

身体是革命的本钱

Taking or not taking part in physical Education

考不考体育

Sports should be the companion of life

Of poetry I do not read much,

对于诗我读得不多，

and when I do I choose the dead lionin preference to the live dog.

要读得时候，我总是宁可选择过去的佳作而不要当代的次品。

She learned the poem many years ago but she recited it word for word.

她许多年前读过这首诗，现在仍能一字不差地背出来。

Poetry, like music, stirred him profoundly,

诗歌像音乐一样打动着他。

and, though he did not know it,

虽然他此刻并没有意识到。

he was preparing his mind for the heavier work that was to come.

实际上读诗正为他即将承担的更沉重的工作作者准备。

Reading poetry brings people from different places and different times together .读诗能让不同地点、不同时代的人聚拢在一起。

Education is about getting a child to find a way of life that suits him.

教育，就是让孩子找到适合他的生活方式。
