Our land is so enriched by the scenery beauty,

江山如此多娇，

Leading to the respectful bow of countless heroes.

引无数英雄竟折腰。

Unfortunately, the Chin and Han emperors,

惜秦皇汉武，

Were less falented in literary aptitude;

略输文采；

While the rulers in Tang Zong and Sung dynasties,

唐宗宋祖，

Shewed less poetic elegance in their writing.

稍逊风骚。

Moreover Genghis khan, a heavenly pride at histime,

一代天骄，成吉思汗，

Only knew how to shoot eagles with his bending bow.

只识弯弓射大雕。

OI. All of them become the past,

俱往矣，

When reckoning brilliant heroes,

数风流人物，

We will include those of noiwdays.

还看今朝。
