Race between the rabbit and the turtle

龟兔赛跑

Turtle moseyed along.

乌龟慢慢爬着。

The turtle is slow.

乌龟跑得慢。

Turtle wandered through the sedge grass.

乌龟在芦荡中散步。

The turtle walked slowly but surely.

乌龟走得很慢但却走得很稳。

The rabbit is waiting for the turtle.

兔子在等候乌龟。

The hare can run very fast, but the turtle can only walk slowly.

兔子可以跑得很快，但乌龟只能慢慢地走。

But Mr. Turtle tries to catch up with him.

但是乌龟先生努力去赶上兔子。

The turtle quietly walks past the rabbit.

乌龟静悄悄地经过兔子的身边。

The rabbit seems to be eaten up with her own conceit. 

兔子仿佛已经被骄傲冲昏了头脑。
