乡愁是首诗（7）

Homesickness is a poem

Parents are here, home is there.

父母在，家就在。

Parents are in, brothers and sisters are family.  

父母在，兄弟姐妹是家人。

When parents passed away, brothers and sisters are relatives.

父母去，兄弟姐妹是亲戚。

He writes poetry but his daily bread comes from teaching.

他写诗，但靠教书过日子。

Sometimes, warmed by a little wine,

有时三杯下肚，

they would recite poetry and write them down with brush and ink.

更出口成章，并取出文房四宝，作诗题字。

His literary creativeness is overflowing, so he can finish a poem in a short while.他的才思流溢, 很快就写好了一首诗。

and remain chapter in prose.

其余各章则以散文写就的书。
