Beautiful

My hometown is in the South of China,

我的家乡在中国的南方，

with green hills and clear waters, there are beautiful natural scenes,

山清水秀，有着美丽的自然景色，

there are honest and kindhearted people too.

也有着淳朴善良的人们。

We have a beautiful city and we pray it stays that way. 

我们的城市很美丽，但愿它能保持下去。

Through the arduous struggle of the people of the whole country

经过全国人民的艰苦奋斗，

until the middle of this century,

到本世纪的中叶，

China will have become a more powerful and beautiful country in the world.

中国将成为世界上更强大更美丽的国家。
