In the hot summer

The morning of June 27th was dear and sunny,

六月二十七日上午，天气晴朗，

the flowers were blossoming profusely and the grass was richly green.

阳光明媚，鲜花盛开，绿草如茵，

with the fresh warmth of a full-summer day;

大地充满了盛夏之日清新的温暖。

Beauty is as summer fruits, which are easy to corrupt, and cannot last.

美有如盛夏的水果，而容易腐烂而难保持的。

Summer is past the full.

盛夏已经过去了。
